Daily Duties:
This role will play a pivotal role in steering Oliphia towards its mission by undertaking strategic administrative and project coordination responsibilities:
- Lead and expand outreach initiatives to promote Oliphia’s vision and capabilities within the industry.
- Conduct in-depth financial and data analysis to inform strategic decisions and contribute to client deliverables.
- Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Refine workflow processes and implement best practices for optimal performance.
- Spearhead market research efforts and synthesize findings into actionable efforts.
- Generate detailed reports and findings and develop strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Administer executive-level support, including advanced scheduling, precise quotation development, and contract management.
- Evolve industry standards and foster excellence in construction execution.
- Facilitate the presentation of findings and strategic insights to clients and stakeholders.
- Act as a critical liaison between the firm and its clientele, ensuring strategic alignment and timely execution.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
- Lead strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of organizational policies.
- Engage in high-level negotiations and partnerships, enhancing Oliphia’s market position and resource network.
- Analyze and integrate emerging trends in construction and business, positioning Oliphia as a leader in innovation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated passion for advancing alternative solutions and optimizing industry efficiencies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a proven track record of applying innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to a diverse audience.
- Proven experience in construction processes, project management, and innovative practices, evidencing a deep commitment to industry advancement.
- Independence in managing initiatives, with a history of delivering results that exceed expectations.
- Leadership experience, with the capacity to mentor, guide, and motivate team members towards achieving shared goals and personal development.
- Demonstrated expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project, with the ability to leverage these tools for efficient project management, data analysis, reporting, and professional communication.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada, holding a valid work permit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by significant professional experience in a relatable industry and/or business management.
- Comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and housing market challenges and opportunities, with a keen insight into emerging trends and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to forge and maintain strategic partnerships with external firms, facilitating mutual growth and industry collaboration.
- An interest and knowledge of manufacturing and construction technologies and materials science, underpinning a forward-thinking approach to construction solutions.
Employment Type:
Full-time, flexible role within a hybrid work model, requiring at least 60% office presence to support collaboration and contribute to the organization’s growth. Our office is located at the Northwest of Calgary at the vibrant University District.
Salary:
$75,000, plus performance bonus consideration after 3-months. Total compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
